We wanted to start a fun tradition with our kids on New Year's Eve. The night's festivities started with fireworks. Andreas put on a firework show just perfect for the kids. Then Oscar and Lina got ready for bed and put on their PJs and then got to choose themselves what yummy food they wanted for fika. Oscar was in heaven. His plate was overflowing and he even enjoyed dipping his pepparkakor in his Coke. Both he and Lina had so much fun with us that night getting ready for the new year to start. Of course they were both in bed before midnight, but Oscar did wake up from all the noise of the fireworks outside at midnight. When he came downstairs Andreas and I were outside looking at all the fireworks, we went in to find him crying for us. We wrapped him up in a blanket and took him outside to watch the rest of the fireworks. After, he got to cuddle on the couch (see top picture above) with me before we put him to bed.
