Olle's New Bed

The day before Olle's 2nd birthday, Andreas put together a bunk bed for him and Oscar. This meant saying goodbye to his crib, which he had been climbing in and out of for months. He was there when his crib was being taken a part. Then Olle, Lina and I left to go to Pat's to dye Easter Eggs. Oscar stayed home to help Andreas start building the bed (and yes, it is from Ikea!). Later, Oscar joined us at Pat's for an Easter Egg hunt while Andreas continued building the bed. When we got home, we were excited to show Olle his bed. As you can tell in the 2nd picture, he wasn't so excited about his new bed. He was crying for his crib!!! But I finally calmed him down and got him to lay in his new bed and even smile! Later that night he was a happy clam to pose with Oscar. Of course he loves it now, but he wasn't so sure in the beginning!
