May 15th was Lina's 1st birthday. She woke up to us singing to her in Swedish and got to open some presents in bed. Then it was a fun day of playing with Mommy and Oscar. For dinner, it was off to Max, the Swedish hamburger restaurant, for her 1st chicken nuggets and fries. Then we came home, sang "Happy Birthday" and dug into the delicious cupcakes and ice cream. Finally, came the presents! Lina wasn't too keen on the cake or the ice cream, but she sure was cute trying to eat them with a spoon. She woke up in the night with a tummy ache, so no more sweets for some time now. We hope you had a great birthday Lina, it was sure fun for all of us!
