So again, this is from last weekend. Like I mentioned in the previous 2 blogs, we went and walked around at the market for awhile, saw the firetruck, went to town, ran through the leaves, had fika. When we were at the market, Oscar saw something that he really, really wanted. He saw some really big balloons and he just had to have one. And of course when we had fika, some other kids had some too. So it was all he could talk about, getting one of these big balloons. So after we had fika, we went back across the street to the market. First we had to buy some chocolate cream balls (like a marshmellow cream inside and dipped in chocolate and coconut outside, delicious and so yummy when they are fresh like these were). Then it was off to find the perfect balloon. Oscar has been interested, amongst other things, dogs. He loves to watch 101 Dalmations, they play dog at school, he has stuffed dogs that are his little friends, etc. So it came down to a Lightening McQueen balloon and a dalmation balloon. It was dalmation all the way and Pongo was his instant name. I have not seen Oscar this excited about something in a long time. All that night he played with his new dog, he fed it and jumped after it and all sorts of things. Lina also got a balloon, a smaller horse balloon. She was not quite as interested in the balloons. She just loves to sit in the stroller and watch what is going on.
